There is no reason why vegans should miss out on the delights of dunking chunks of bread into a pot of gooey melting cheese! Here’s a tasty recipe for a completely vegan cheese fondue that is so tasty you won’t even miss the dairy.
- 200g Violife EPIC Mature Cheddar Flavour Grated
- 5 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 400ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp Yellow Mustard
- Sea Salt (to taste)
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- Carrot sticks, celery sticks, fresh baguette to serve.
1Heat olive oil in a pot, add the sifted flour, and oil whilst whisking. Add the coconut milk, stirring until the sauce thickens. Then add the Violife grated original.
2Stir in the mustard and add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
3Serve the fondue in a fondue pot to keep warm and side with bread and vegetable sticks.
