Krug really is a superior champagne. It is well worth the expense for a special celebration, or everyday if you can afford it. I wish I could. Actually a very good place to become educated in the differences in champagne is in Las Vegas. You can find almost everything there, for a price. Which can be very steep there indeed. But you can try an enormous variety and compare them all. And to me Krug always come out on top consistently. The only wine I have not been able to locate in Las Vegas is vintage Romanee-Conti.
It makes sense that the party capital of the world is a great place to find a variety of champagnes! We love Krug too, the menu looks great as well!
