The Bière à Lille festival returns this September with plenty of fun on tap, from tastings to competitions to pop concerts.
The week-long event, which was created in 2017, aims to promote beer, brewing culture and the gastronomic heritage of the Hauts-de-France region. Local restaurants, bars, wine merchants and more will be joining in and shining a light on the richness and brewing know-how of artisan beer makers in Lille and the surrounding area.
There will also be competitions, with more than 100 breweries from across France and around the taking part, while the closing weekend will see chefs cooking live and serving up irresistible gourmet tapas for festival goers to enjoy. And while you’re in Lille, you may want to whet your whistle at local breweries Brasserie Cambier, which offers tours and tastings, and Brasserie Gobrecht, where private visits can be arranged. The full programme of Bière à Lille, which this year runs from September 19 to 25, will be online soon.
