For more than 20 years, Hédonie has been dedicated to sourcing nature’s finest ingredients, offering an exceptional selection of products at its grocery store at 6 rue Mézières (Paris 6). From timeless essentials to unique finds, the shop has built a reputation for quality.

Now, it is expanding, creating a brand-new gourmet space focused on slow dining. The original grocery store has been renamed Hédonie Côté Cour, while just across the street at number 7, the new tea room, Hédonie Côté Jardin, has opened its doors.

At Hédonie Côté Jardin, visitors can enjoy a carefully curated selection of food and drinks, whether dining in or taking away. Perfect for lunch, an afternoon treat, or simply relaxing with a drink on a much-needed break from sightseeing, the tea room offer the exact opposite of fast food – it’s an invitation to slow down and indulge.

As well as sandwiches, salads and pastries, you’ll find a choice of artisanal teas and coffees plus freshly-pressed fruit juices. Beyond the dining experience, Hédonie Côté Jardin offers a handpicked selection of gourmet foods and decorative objects to bring the experience home, such as Japanese handmade candles, stylish aprons, alcohol-free sparkling wines, elegant tableware and matcha. So you can combine your lunch with a spot of gift shopping.

The space itself has been designed by architect Magalie Varcourt, who has crafted a warm, cocoon-like atmosphere with soft, inviting tones, just perfect for relaxation. Every detail has been considered, from the custom-made lighting by ceramicist Margot Lhomme to the exquisite Japanese tableware from Kinto Studio. The result is a refined, welcoming space that stays true to the vision of Hédonie’s founder, Sylvie Auber – celebrating beauty, indulgence and the simple pleasure of savouring the moment.

Early reviews rave about Hédonie Côté Jardin’s quality of food, menu choices and its relaxing ambience. But don’t take their word for it – next time you’re in Paris, slow down and enjoy it for yourself!

Hédonie Côté Jardin & Côté Cour are at no.s 6 and: 7 rue Mézières, Paris 6. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm.
