
Le Cordon Bleu London celebrates 130 years at summer festival
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 21, as Le Cordon Bleu London throws open its doors for a special anniversary edition of its beloved Summer Festival. In celebration of the institute’s 130th year, this year’s event promises to be a joyfully delicious tribute to Le Cordon Bleu’s global culinary legacy.
Held at the prestigious London campus in Bloomsbury Square, the Summer Festival will offer food lovers, home cooks and aspiring chefs a taste of the world of fine cuisine. Admission is £15 and includes access to live cooking demonstrations, the ever-popular Salon Gourmet tasting area and the chance to browse and buy from a curated selection of premium food and drink producers.
Festivalgoers can enjoy demonstrations from some of the industry’s most celebrated chefs, including:
- Chef Antonio Milla & Chef Francisco ‘Paco’ Jose Torrico (Barrafina)
- Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Houchet (The Savoy Hotel)
- Chef Lieven Demeestere (Arenberg)

All demonstrations are included in the ticket price, with limited seating available on a first come, first served basis.

For those looking to roll up their sleeves, the institute’s chefs will lead 18 hands-on culinary workshops across the day. From classic pâtisserie and boulangerie to plant-based creations and wine pairing sessions, each experience is designed to reflect the disciplines taught in Le Cordon Bleu’s renowned programmes. Workshop tickets are £50 (includes general admission and all materials); Wine & Beverage tastings are £30 (includes general admission).

The fourth floor will once again host the Salon Gourmet Tasting Area, a hub of culinary discovery where guests can sample and purchase delicacies from around the globe. Expect:
- Maison Louis Latour – classic French vintages at the wine bar
- Brindisa – bold Spanish charcuterie and tapas
- Julienne Bruno – innovative plant-based creations
- Peruvian Embassy Pisco Bar – cocktails made with Peru’s iconic spirit
Guests will receive a ‘Gourmet Passport’ to stamp at each international station, in celebration of Le Cordon Bleu’s presence in more than 35 countries worldwide.
