The ultimate treat on a cold day, made with cream for pure indulgence!
Ingredients
- 100ml double cream
- 100ml milk
- Square of dark chocolate
- 1 tsp nutella
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp sugar
Directions
1Heat the cream with the milk, chocolate and Nutella in a small pan or microwave, until the chocolate and Nutella is completely melted.
2Place the cocoa and sugar in a separate bowl. Slowly pour the chocolate milk mixture into the cocoa and sugar bowl, continuing to whisk until the hot chocolate is frothy.
3Drink immediately.
I do have a question, why the Nutella? What does it add?
Wondering the same as I am not a fan of Nutella…
Sadly, Nutella is still made with palm oil. So a product to be avoided if you value the environment as swathes of rainforest get clear-felled for palm plantations that yield palm oil.

Forests are also lost to make pastures for grazing animals. Meat production is also terrible for the environment, not to mention it’s not healthy for people, so best to avoid it as much as possible too
I would make it but miss out the nuttella, maybe another square of chocolate…
