Taste of France have teamed up with French Truffle Tree to offer one lucky reader a 10-year truffle tree package worth £350.
French Truffle Tree specialises in growing the French Perigord Truffle in France, and lets people from all over the world “adopt” their very own truffle tree. The owner will then be sent any truffles that grow on their tree throughout the package period, or French Truffle Tree can sell them for you!
The perfect gift for someone with an interest in food or simply just a fun investment. With truffles fetching about £700 per kilo and sometimes as high as £1200 depending on the market price it could be a lovely little earner.
The winner has the choice between the All Inclusive Hazel Package or All Inclusive Oak Package and they will also receive an adoption certification, proving that the tree has been inoculated with truffle spores, by the government. The £30 yearly maintenance fee will also be waived.
A fantastic and unique investment for yourself or perfect as a gift that keeps on giving. Not only that, the scheme invests in the planet one sapling at a time.
